The Stihl electric motor (EC) has been designed to be extremely efficient, lightweight and compact and does not require servicing! The operating handle with speed regulation allows you to regulate the speed of the engine which helps to save energy and extend the battery life to give more working time from a single charge of the battery. This operating handle has “Operator Presence Control” with a self resetting locking lever to prevent unintentional starting of the device. The loop handle design is ideal for working in areas where space is limited such as thinning between bushes and shrubs.
